| Our program would not be as
great as it is without the generous support of many individuals
and organizations. Every new donation we receive not only helps the
dogs, but also touches us deeply. The inmate trainers feel your support
and, I believe, it helps motivate them to push beyond their comfort zone
to simply be better. I imagine it is one of the
first times in some of their lives when someone, in essence, said,
"I believe in you and I want to help you succeed." They feel a
sense of responsibility to all of the support they receive from people
they've never met. The following individuals and organizations have donated goods and services to the F.I.D.O. program: Business and Corporate Donors Lori McCallister and Starbucks Coffee (Starbucks encourages their employees to volunteer in their communities by matching dollars for hours of volunteer work. Lori is a local dog trainer who donates her time to one of the area animal shelters and also works at Starbucks coffee. She managed to rack up over 1000 hours this past year! Way to go, Lori!)
