Sergeant Kim Lytle

Sergeant Lytle is the founder, administrator and coordinator of the F.I.D.O. program. She is a Corrections Supervisor for Geiger Corrections and has been with Geiger for seven years, with a total of fifteen years corrections experience.

In her "off" hours, Sergeant Lytle works tirelessly on behalf of our 4-legged friends. She has been a volunteer at SCRAPS for four years, is a member of HEART (Humane Emergency Animal Rescue Team) and a foster home for Partners for Pets. She also helps transport dogs from shelter to shelter across the state and contributes articles about homeless dogs to the Spokesman Review.

Kim says, "Every little piece is part of the big picture of the effort Spokane is putting out to curb the homeless pet population. Despite how it feels sometimes, we are making progress."

Lisa Lucas, cpdt

Lisa is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and owner of Northern Tails Dog Training where she provides small, personalized group classes and one-on-one help for behavior concerns.

From 2001 to 2005 she worked at SCRAPS (Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Services) as the first on-site dog trainer. Her primary responsibilities were adoption counseling, temperament testing and teaching a free training class for adopters.

In February of 2007 she joined the team at Geiger to develop and oversee the training program.

Leah O'Dell

Leah has been a dedicated volunteer at SCRAPS since 2001. And has done everything from adoption counseling to temperament testing. She is currently the lead instructor for the SCRAPS dog training class. She is working towards her certification as a Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT).

In February of 2007 Leah also joined the team at Geiger and is an integral part of the training and teaching program.
